Their lies a forest of fallen logs, hollow
And in it a path who travelers follow
The path would plead to be freed its obstructions
so comes a crew to fulfill its need its need for construction.
Packing their tools, and their Tupperware filled
Heading up and down, hill to hill, as they would not stop
Quick was the mission , with a cut and chop
with time they re-established the path, clean and thrilled
One week of work passed, the trail finished
the crew moved up and out, feeling extinguished
the forest, clear as it could be
now ready for hikers to climb it with glee.
