Hot and sunny, our working bodies are fading,
But we can't wait till we're river wading.
Owen screams at Esther to pick up her tools
The new girl Lily will wonder why she's with fools.
When Gibby hurt her finger, the sky started to rumble.
The van slid down the hill and Carlos took a tumble.
Clay came to the rescue and we went to McDanks,
But if Pete were in charge, he'd make us do planks.
Saw crew came for dinner and Grace got a match lit.
Joan saw a bear and had to sleep with a hatchet.
The Barbs dig up tread and dream about the Great Sand Dunes
And then Janey pulls her pants down and we get a full moon.
Grey's and Torrey's peaks are calling our name,
and for the CFI Crew, we must be tame.
This horse trail kept getting longer and made our hearts sink,
While Chris is chugging along and pounding an energy drink.
So far so good, the Barb's can't wait for more,
But we don't know what else this season has in store.
