I came to RMYC to get hands-on with nature and to see if outdoor life was for me. I also came for personal growth. Later on, I want to backpack for long periods, and to have a permanent job doing GIS mapping, and I forgot about the encounters here that will curve my life path. Talking to one of our project partners during work made me think about my future career goals. He told us how hard it was to get a permanent job, and how he enjoyed the seasonal jobs too. I want to do that too, and it made me hopeful and optimistic for life. This adventure with RMYC will lead me to grow personally and professionally, and all the people we meet help me get more realistic ideas for career goals.
