Fall Crew 1: Mud Pits and Shooting Stars

Updated: Sep 24, 2018

Our project site was pretty intense for the first week. We were building a bridge over a giant mud pit. Most days we were working on it it rained on and off the whole day. The best part was starting to see it all come together! We all worked hard through all of the different conditions and stayed positive, and that made it so rewarding.

A unique experience was definitely the shooting star in Moab. We were all hanging out at camp until pretty late and all of a sudden the biggest shooting star flew by. IT was orange and had a long sparkly tail. It broke apart while flying through the air. It was so amazing! We all freaked out for awhile afterward. I also saw my first moose which was so cool!
