During the past week Crew Echo continued to work on crosscut in Dillon. We completed another four miles on the Gore Range Trail and learned from the best in town - Alan Chapman. Although by the end of the week he completely showed us up, cutting a record-breaking 54 trees in a day, we collectively improved our crosscutting skills and cut about 800 trees! Other than work we had a heartfelt mindfulness and meditation seed with our crew leaders and climbed our first fourteener on the weekend! Although the climb up to Quandary was a challenge, nothing beats chilling atop the world with a wonderful crew, awesome crew leaders, and some sweet mountain goats!
